it's so busy at work, we had our christmas lunch it was a lot of fun, i had a great time, people complained about the food, i'm fussy with food but i don't really care, so long as i enjoyed the company and we all had a great time, that's the main thing.
we don't have plans for Christmas, i think i need to do:
- read the books/watch the DVDs i bought from Hong Kong
- tidy up my websites, and hopefully give Strawberry Jam a revamp, hopefully
- tidy up my home office/studio, it's a mess!!
- get a haircut
----
another thing, i don't usually recommend restaurants to people, but i'm doing it. reason - i think everyone's different, esp when it comes to food and wine. i read an article from the Seth's Blog a while ago, i totally agreed, if you keep the good restaurants to yourself, you'll find them closed down one day. which happened so many times it's frustrating!!
so i recommend Fu Restaurant in William Street Northbridge, a Malaysia/Singapoean restaurant, it's a nice place, and the food is good too, licenced, they also serve cocktail. I love this place, and I reckon they're opened in the wrong location, if it's in Leederville or Subiaco, i bet they'll be super busy, they can even charge more. Like Wagamama (which i think is crap) charges like $18 for a stir fried noodle, it doesn't even taste half as good as my home-cooked noodle.
Fu seems to be pretty quiet most of the time (maybe i always go there/walk pass at the wrong time), i really really want them to stay open, I know i don't have enough readers, but i believe in the 6 degree thing. So try it, recommend it if you also think it deserves more business.
