hooked

got this grinder to go with my machine, now i just need the bang-bang to complete the set up.... if money is no object i want everything from the cafe series, but my kitchen was tiny, haha. by the way the grinder is sold out everywhere!! i can only find a few in Myer.

and i'm looking for a coffee making class to enrol, Sunbeam will have coffee workshops at the coming Food and Wine Show in Melb and Sydney, but again, no surprise, Mr Bassett will not come to Perth. ahhh well, i will still go to the Show, although i remember last year i went there, the queue was sooooo looooooong we gave up.

anyway.... will keep looking, i only know the basics, i should learn more and make the most of the machine.

got my copy today

I contributed to this book, published early this year in China, it's very exciting to see my work in a beautiful book, featured alongside some very talented designers from around the world.

I love handicraft. ISBN 978-7-5019-6288-4

The editor translated everything into Chinese, so no luck for those who can't read the language. It would be lovely for it to be bilingual so that other designers can read their words in their own language. But anyway, it doesn't affect me! hahaha!

Also check out the flickr group if you're interested http://www.flickr.com/groups/affacraftbook/

Wii Fit

We got the Wii Fit last Thursday, and tried it out that night. It was fun! (BeBe disagree, I think. haha) I'll be good, will play 30 minutes every night.

I've been looking for a good elliptical trainer to start my cardiac workout program, I wanted to start exercising regularly. I just want to be fit, as I can feel my body is aging (damn!), at the same time I hope regular exercise could help me put on weight, that's the other side of the theory anyway. At first I thought I would have the Wii Fit for fun, but it actually does the job, I love the Yoga poses too! so I can save that money for the ET for now and see how we go.

so what's next?

currently I'm working 80% hours, so I get a day off each week, which is great for the time being, i have to keep everything up until I know where things are heading to. The problem is, I love my job, i love my businesses, how do I choose what to give up? Can I have half of each? :) I hope it is for me to decide, unfortunately it's not.

Noren

I made this noren last weekend, we need this to separate the ensuite and the bedroom, so I don't have to close the door. I followed the tutorial here, it's quick and easy, give it a go if you also don't like to see the toilet while in bed.

harvest

^this is part of our first crop, it's been nice and cool in the past 2 weeks, the mushrooms are growing crazy, we have so many, I'll bring some for my colleagues, they taste so good.

The whole growing process can be seen in my flickr, the mushroom set. hehe, if you're interested.

i haven't updated my flickr for almost a month, finally i got to sit down and forget about the work and all and upload my pics last night, and i uploaded a few more just now. i hope you'll enjoy seeing the mushroom grows, if not, I'm sorry i can't help but to make them part of my project 365, haha!
